I'm in the process of transferring my 15000+ emails from the Gmail account I've been using for the past few years to a new Google Apps account via IMAP upload. I realize this may not seem like the smartest thing to do, but stay with me here...
At first, the upload itself worked fine using Apple Mail. Now, however, everything is slowing to a crawl - not just uploads, but simple downloading as well. Everything works fine when I use Thunderbird, so the problem seems to be within Mail and not Google's servers.
Is there a way to erase the local copy of my IMAP mail without completely recreating the account? I'd then be able to download everything fresh, and hopefully it'll be working again.
Thanks.
