clear qam channels

I just recently purchased a Samsung LNT4042H (with a built in qam tuner). I am wondering if there is anything i have to do to get clear qam HD channels other than hooking up my tv to the analog cable signal from basic cable. Any other info on clear qam would also be really cool.
