I have a TC that I back up two macs to. One of the macs died and has been replaced. I want to set the replacement mac to backup to the TC, and delete the sparsebundle that relates to the dead mac, without loosing the sparsebudle from the second mac.

Trying to select the relevant sparsebundle by just deleting it, as you would any other file doesn't seam to work. I just get a deleting progress bar that doesn't move for hours.

Many thanks for any help.

Depending on the size of the sparsebundle it could take a LONG time. I deleted a sparsebundle for my Mini a while back and remember it taking hours. Plus it took forever on the first quarter of the progress bar and then after it got past a quarter of the way it went pretty fast. Just give it time.
