Hi All,

I have a simple problem that I can't seem to fix. I want to delete all cookies from my browser (Safari 6). Here are the steps I followed (see attached screenshots in sequence):

1. Reset Safari
2. In Preferences --> Privacy, I have about 8 or cookies that did not delete after I performed a "reset"
3. I manually delete those using the "Remove all" option
4. After about 5 seconds all these cookies are back.

I have checked my bookmarks and I don't think I have anything that references any of these sites - in fact, I have very few bookmarks that are mostly links to PDF documents on academic websites (so, no advertising on those pages). I recently reformatted my machine, so it is a relatively clean install. I don't think I have any malware, but I'm not sure now.

What am I missing here?

Thanks

Chet
