When hitting 'Delete private data -> Delete' my browser shuts down without warning. My questions are: 1) Has it cleared my cache? 2) Is it supposed to shut down like this?

No it's not. That latest version of Opera has more bugs than usual. I've found that deleting the cache very often causes a lock up for example. And changing another preference (can't remember which) will always, without fail cause a lock-up. It also crashes more often. It's too bad, if it wasn't for the instability issues which have existed for all of the versions I've ever used (except one of the 7's) I'd love it. Ok, end rant, but you get the idea.

i've been googling for this, but haven't come across a satisfactory one:
i use opera on my Windows computer, but i haven't loaded it onto my Macbook Pro as it already has 2 great browsers (firefox and safari)...all the same, i'd like to know what Opera for the mac looks like, so i'll be much obliged if someone can post a screenshot of 9.5 ?
cool! thanks
i guess it looks just like the Windows version when it's in the default theme - doesn't look like a Mac application so i'll pass on this one
