Clearing seaches on Apple Maps

Hi all, this is my first post on this forum. How do I get rid of past searches/destinations on Apple Maps on my MacBook Pro? I can't seem to clear out the cache. Please advise. Thanks.
 
Click in the search field > Click on favorites > Click on Recents > Click "Clear Recents"
