Clearview - the perfect pdf-reader?

I'm searching for a good pdf-reader for me. I must be stable and fast. I have here around hundred files and the organisation with Finder and Tags is for me not a solution, so i search for good desktop pdf-reader with a shelf-view and annotations-functions.

Now i found Clearview By Canoe Software (Mac App Store; Website). My question is: is anybody use this app and can give some feedback? it is stable and fast? how is the support from the developer?
