Does anyone else have really weird issues with click behavior in Tiger? It's like the double click setting in the mouse is never taken into account, especially in iTunes... it's really hard to explain what's exactly wrong, but I'll try.
Just a few seconds ago, I was browsing the iTunes library, and every time I clicked on an artist in the artists list, then clicked the song once it would start to play the song. Or, if I have a song selected and I want to edit the name, even if I clicked on it a long time ago, it will play it instead of opening the edit field.
And this behavior isn't limited to iTunes, it happens in tons of applications with lists of items. It will think I double clicked on something when I had no intention of opening it.
I also have problems with clicking on the buttons in the windows (especially the minimize button) and the close button on Safari tabs. If I click even just slightly wrong, sometimes it will refuse to register any more clicks until I move the window or do something with the scroll bar. It also does that in the dock.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of it? It's really frustrating, because it really interferes with the way I work. I'm thinking of buying a MacBook for college and I don't want to have to deal with this then, because I know it will be even more frustrating on a track pad if it acts this way.
