Clicking HD?

Hm, has it always been there and I never noticed it or did it just appear since I put the extra 8GB memory in and initiated FileVault. I can hear a small, almost inaudiable tapping from the back of the computer when ever I use anything. Could it be bad or is this normal?

And do you have a current backup yet? Maybe the HDD is failing?

Sounds like a very very faint finger tapping on the casing in a non rhythmic way. Could be the HD needle and I can only hear it because the rest of the computer is so quiet?

...two days old, the mac in my signature. I just switched on FileVault and Firewall today, and installed an extra 8GB of crucial memory.
