Clicking noise when I press on the bottom near the trackpad

I have an audible clicking/popping noise, at least as loud as a trackpad click, when I press on the botom of my macbook air 13 near the left top of the trackpad. I noticed it because I often hold my MBA with one hand and my fingers naturally rest there. Can anyone else reproduce this?
 
Had this on my 13" 2012 CTO. I loosened the bottom panel and adjusted it slightly, then tightened. Noise gone. YMMV
