Clicking on the link to PPT document but IPP opened it in pdf format automatically?

Hi, I went to a website to open a PPT document from my IPP. However, when I clicked on it, it opened as a pdf document automatically. Anybody knows what happened and how to prevent this behavior? Thanks.
 
I would long press on the link to the ppt, Share, save to Files. Then open it from inside an app that supports working with presentations such as Keynote or PowerPoint.
