Clicking, Rattle noise from earpiece

I bought the 16GB 3G iPhone. However the new phone's earpiece uses a little wire mesh instead of the foamy material used in 1st gen phone. The problem I found with the 2nd Gen phone is when the other party speak really loud or at certain tone, the mesh vibrates and creates a little rattling sound. It goes away if I turn down the volume, I wonder if anyone experiencing similar issue.

Same Thing

I have the same problem. It is so annoying. Everything else with the phone is fine. I actually returned one yesterday in Ardmore due to a DUST under screen issue. This new one seemed fine, until I started actually talking on it. I took mine back today for a new one and they made a call and said they could not hear it at the genius bar. But they did say they would swap it out. (NJ STORE). Untortunately they did not have any instock and they told me they would call this afternoon once they got more in. I am crossing my fingers that I do not get, dust, static earpiece, etc........ WISH ME LUCK
