Clicking sounds when answering calls on Mac

Hi, I hope I'm not doubling any thread, but I couldn't find one with this problem I'm having.

So, I have a 2011 15 inch MBP, which doesn't support the whole Continuity thing. But it does support calling and SMS relay. The SMS thing is working fine, but I;m having problems with phone calls - each time I answer a phone call I on my Mac I can't hear anything, but clicking and noise.

Has this happened to any of you guys? Anyone found a reason or better yet a solution?

I have it approx one call in 5-10....I put it down to traffic on the WiFi but have no solution
