So a few weeks ago I decided to dip my toe into the OS X Server world for my home network that tends to support quite a few Macs. Since I am the IT guy in the family everyone comes to me to fix their machines, so I figured it would be a time saver to setup a NetInstall server for NetRestore.
10.10.3 dropped today so I updated everything (including to Server 4.1) and now when I take a client to boot from the image, it Kernel Panics. I have done this on a few machines (all uMBPs, all compatible with Yosemite) and all get the same result. I created a new image thinking my custom workflow could be the problem, but I was only able to boot to that image once before it started doing the same thing.
I contacted Apple Enterprise Support and they said everything looked good. They are checking it to it but I was wondering has anyone else had this same issue with Yosemite and NetRestore images? If so, were you able to fix it?
Thank you!
