I made a movie using final cut pro and at the beginning I had to convert all of the clips.
I used squared 5's mpeg streamclip to convert the clips from mpeg to quicktime. It worked for all of them except for one clip that is about 50 minutes long. I went on to make the movie minus the long clip (I figured I would deal with it later)but now it is time to add the long clip and I have spent four days trying to convert it and searching various forums for an answer. The clip begins to convert but about halfway through it says that there is an error and the clip can not be converted. The program still converts other clips.
Has this happened to anyone else? What might I do to convert this clip??
