Hi...I've used clipgrab to download some clips and set the destination folder to my portable hard drive....FYI....I have done this countless times without any problem. My most recent series of downloads with clipgrab do not show up in the destination folder.
I did check before downloading each time...that the destination folder was set...however they don't show up.
I am using an imac 2024 OS Sequoia...and am using the latest version of clipgrab for mac.

There was no indication from clipgrab that the downloads were unsuccessful but as I have already mentioned they do not show up.
FYI I also ran first aid on my hard drive...just in case.

Before anyone asks...I don't recall the downloaded file names.

Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

Download Thomas Templeton's free utility named "Find Any File":

Set it up with two search criteria:
1. Files created BEFORE a certain date (you said "recent", set it for one or two weeks)
and
2. TYPE of file you're looking for (mp4, etc.)

Then see what results you get.
Chances are, if you find one, take note of where it is and "the rest of them" will be there, too.

I'm not having this issue, but I haven't used ClipGrab in a bit. And I'm still on Sonoma. Anyway, ClipGrab, when it starts the download process will use a random file name. But when it's done and finalizing, it will rename the clip to the title of what you downloaded.

So, say for instance, you downloaded a YT video called 'Apple commercial 1984' from YT. When ClipGrab is done, it will name that download 'Apple commercial 1984'. In your search for the file then, that title is what you'd be looking for.

If you're saying that you can't remember the titles of the stuff you had ClipGrab download, then I'd try @Fishrrman's suggestion.

Thanks for your advice...I will download find any file and see what happens.
Cheers
