Clips From DVD

I design and develop websites freelance.
My current project is a high school football star trying to go Pro.
his father provided me with a DVD of his last game.
This is a privately produced DVD and not copy protected as far as I know.
what I need to do is select highlight plays in this game and convert them to viewable online videos that potential colleges can view.

What App could I use to crop clips from this dvd?

MPEG StreamClip will convert the DVD .vob files into something editable using iMovie or any other editor.

Thanks ur awesome. That didn't work too well for me since I didn't have the mpeg converter required, though for future reference, I found that importing using HandBreak, Converting using Exporter, importing to iMovie to edit worked AWesome.
