Clips in iMovie "iPhoto library" are all muted! (please help!)

Hey guys..
So today when I booted up iMovie, I noticed none of my iPhoto clips were on it. So I closed the program, re opened it, and it asked me to create imovie thumbnails from my clips stored in iPhoto, I said hit yes.

It took about twenty minutes.
And then when I went to edit some video, ALL THE CLIPS WRE MUTED!! I go into iPhoto and all my movies play fine, but in iMovie, their muted. The volume dials arent moving at all, its as if there is no audio on any clip.
