clock always not showing the right time and affecting double clicking track pad

hello, my macbook aluminium running on the latest updated mac osx has been showing the wrong time for almost a few times already, previously when i opened the open date & time option, and click the apple americas/U.S. (time.apple.com), the time would revert to the correct time however it somehow affect the trackpad by disabling the tap and double finger tap, instead i will have to open system preferences open the trackpad options and recheck the tap to drag function to allow the tapping functions to work again...someone from apple forum told me to reset my PRAM and something else, i did that and it doesnt work, in fact now the clock still gets even more messed up, now when i click apple americas/U.S. (time.apple.com), it doesnt revert anymore, and ive noticed eversince i reset my PRAM, my screen seems to be compressed while playing games, i notice to black borders at the side that squishes the screen into a narrower one eventhough the game preferences states at 1280 by 800....i really need some help guys, i want my macbook aluminium to be functioning PROPERLY!!!...id appreciate some suggestion before taking this back to apple store
