hey guys - the clocks are going back tonight in the uk - will my iphone update automatically ?

cheers

If you have it set to automatically adjust itself for DST, then yes, it should make the adjustment. I find it interesting though that you guys will be observing DST tomorrow while in the USA, we will be observing DST on November 1st which is one week away.

Yes, where is this DST Option?

Your carrier sends out the time. Just reboot your phone in the morning and it'll pick up the new time.

You don't have to reboot - the time will adjust with your carrier. You won't have to do a thing. Just make sure "set automatically" is on in your date and time settings.

There is no auto update option when connected to O2 but the phone did still correctly reset to 1am a few mins ago.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 1.5; en-gb; HTC Hero Build/CUPCAKE) AppleWebKit/528.5+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Mobile Safari/525.20.1)

I think most modern devices handle time changes themselves. My HTC Hero adjusted fine on its own. :) I have no doubt the iPhone will too.
