Clone HD from MBP 2.26Ghz to 2.40Ghz

I have two Mac Book Pros. One is a mid 2009 2.26 and the other a 2010/11 2.4GHz, both 13 inch.

I have the 2.4 exactly the way I want it. Can I clone the hard drive and restore to the 2.26. Are the drivers the same. It would be so much easier than doing a brand new setup on the 2.26.

Use CarbonCopyCloner on the 2.4 to transfer to the 2.26.

Thanks, yes of course, CCcloner, really my questions is will the drivers from the 2.4 work on the 2.26? or will there be a problem on how the computers are named, conflicts....

They have different graphics (and maybe other) chipsets so it may even boot. Try swapping the HDD over and see if it boots first.

Two weeks ago I cloned a 10.6.8 drive I set up on my 2008 Blackbook and cloned it onto my 2011 MPB 17. Works fine.
