Clone number game apps EVERWHERE!

...Sorry for shouting, but what is this crap flooding the App Store! 2048 clones and other number game clones absolutely everywhere. It doesn't matter what category of game you pick, that's all you see in "what's hot" or "new". As shown below.

What is going on in Cupertino when they're rejecting great widgets that improve functionality but then not only approve these clones...but also feature them!

I'm not completely certainly, but I believe those sections aren't really featured ones, they are just populated automatically by algorithms based on how new the apps are, how many downloads they get, perhaps some other factors.

Yeah they'd have to be automatically populated, however why is Apple allowing developers to tag their games under completely unrelated genres so that these clones populate every category!

This has been an issue since Threes! debuted. The only thing we can do is not support developers who make their living off of cloning successful apps.

As for categorizing, it's probably going to get harder. It seems like they're phasing it out.
