Clone Windows Drive

So my HP laptop decided to die the other day but I don't think the HD was damaged. I have an '08 8-core Mac Pro and I think I'm going to buy a new 1 TB drive and partition 320 GB for boot camp to basically create an exact copy of my laptop on my Mac Pro. I've never used boot camp though nor have I ever cloned a drive so I don't even know where to start.

I'm not sure you could do this easily for boot camp due to driver conflicts and such. You may be able to get it working under vmware however.

Whatever you do, I recommend uninstalling drivers once the drive is transferred to your Mac.
