looks like im getting the mbp sr 15" tomorrow and im wondering whether i can do a straight superduper! clone install from my macbook on to it?

i assume it will be ok but should i be thinking different? i wouldnt like spend the weekend setting everything up again..

You will get nasty kernal panics for cloning. They have different system drivers.
 
The Migration Assistant works most of the times great. I use it all the time when getting new hardware. Just reboot your old machine holding down the T key. You will see after a while the firewire symbol. The startup wizard on the new machine will guide you through the process
