Hi There,

I have a new mac mini, and was wondering how I can clone my Macbook Air's hard drive to my new Mac Mini since I don't have a firewire port on the Macbook Air? I'm using carbon copy cloner.

Thanks for any help! :)

Ahh, nope. I do not. I didn't know that was available. I'll look into it. Thanks! :)

If you get that then you can use Migration Assistant and pull all the information over using Ethernet.

Agreed, do the migration wizard, do not do this over wifi too painfully slow, and with your MBA, don't you have thunderbolt? If so get the thunderbolt gigabit adapter, much faster.

You said "new" Mac Mini, so that means you may have Thunderbolt on it. You could use the Thunderbolt cable, and boot the Air in Target Disk Mode.
