Cloning to SSD question

Hi All,

I have just got my MP and waiting for my mounting bracket to arrive to install the Extreme Pro SSD from OWC.

While I am waiting for this, is it possible to load up on the 1TB drive that came with the MP, Parallels 6.9, itunes restoring my backup, load all my programs in Windows set everything up and then when I get the SSD install can I just run Carbon Copy and clone all that I have from the 1TB drive to the SSD?

Will this work so that the SSD will now have all this info and boot from it so I can use the 1TB drive as data drive?

Or do I have to do all the fresh install on the SSD. Also if cloning is possible will it by any chance decrease the performance because I didnt do a fresh install on the SSD?

Would appreciate answers from the resident experts.
