Close button on both left and right sides in tab?

Not sure if it’s some kind of bug or from an extension, but I just noticed it today that I have the close button on both sides. It’s not consistent on when it shows up, but seems to appear when doing multiple tabs.

Okay I’ve figured out what it is and was able to reproduce. When adding a new tab, it leaves behind a “ghosting” x button when you switch tabs because of all the tabs shifting around. If you try to press this ghost x button, it’ll disappear.

Surprising that they shipped it with the bug in this state.
