I had found this close widget for SBsettings.. but it doesnt appear it lets you "close"/quit the open app, merely sends it to the background..

It would be nice if there was an addon that would let you do this, in case you dont want the app to stay open, short of using the double tap method to then close it..

Also.. are there any addons that let you close all open apps at once?

The backgrounded apps aren't actually running which doesn't impact your battery life at all. So I'm assuming that you want to free up memory... just go into SBSettings > Processes, and "Free Up Memory" which should close most of your apps (except for Phone and Messages) :)
