When I was visiting my parents, I copied a home video onto my parents DVD Recorder-- But I forgot to close the DVD, and I can't seem to read it on my mac. How can I do it without the DVD Recorder? I have Toast 6, but it didn't help.

toast 7 can mount discs from set-top recorders and you can access the video from the media browser and then burn to a new DVD.

but to actually close this disc... you need to take it back to the recorder it was made with.

So if I buy Toast 7, I could at least view the movie? I've been looking for an excuse to upgrade to 7 anyway. I might just do that. Right now, I can't see any information on the disk at all on my computer. And Toast 6 just ejects it.
