I clicked an X post and a video started playing but now I can't stop the video app. I double click the home button and it's not in the list of active apps. There are no controls on it like quit. How can I close it?
Thanks

The only way afaik to close that media player thing is to stop media playback. As in, don’t let your iPad play any media from any app in the background.

Thanks!
Disable Background App Refresh for Media Apps
Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh.

Find apps that play media (e.g., Music, Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, etc.) and toggle off Background App Refresh for each one. Alternatively, turn off Background App Refresh entirely at the top of the screen.

This prevents apps from refreshing content or continuing playback when they’re not actively open.
