I just hooked my BlackBook to my HDTV ... finally ...
Can the computer run with the lid closed? I can't find anything.

THanks

Yes but you need to use an external keyboard & mouse and plug in your power. Close the lid, after it goes to sleep wake with keyboard or mouse. ---GDF

No you don't have to have the keyboard connected. You can use the remote control, I use Front Row alot on my widescreen this way. (Having the power supply plugged in and attatched is a reqirement though.)

Sorry...I was thinking that the OP might want to use the MacBook a different way once the lid was closed.
