Closing all running applications?

I was wondering if its possible, to do like a keyboard shortcut, to close all running application at the same time., without having to stop em manually

Cmd + Shift + Q (which will also log you out)

That.. or cycle through your open apps with CMD-Tab and press Q for each one.

Just found this using a Google search. It does work...tested it out. I would say to make sure there is not any unsaved data you wanna keep before you run it as it does Force Quit all the open applications.
