Closing Applications, how often do you do it?

How often do you double click the home button and close the applications?

Is there a way of making them close automatically when you close it or is this the only way to keep it from running in the background.

How important is it to close these.

Sounds like we need an app to auto close programs

Not very often. Actually almost never - lol.

I know this is a big problem on Android phones, where the battery is drained too rapidly. They have a 'task kill' function to remedy this, but it's quite annoying from what I hear.

The iPhone seems to do a spectacular job of battery life preservation, when you consider this.
