Clove Cigarettes in Israel

Hey MacRumors!

I'm on vacation in Israel/Jordan for the next two weeks. I'll be in Galilee till Wednesday, Amman and Petra next week, then Eilat and Jerusalem the week after. I'm a casual smoker and ever since clove cigarettes were banned in the US (and replaced with clove cigars which have a markedly different taste) I've been hoping to find some of the original Djarum cloves.

Is there anyone on the forums from Israel/Jordan who might know where I can find Djarum cloves or a similar brand (Gudang Garam) near the locations I'll be traveling?

I was never clear as to why these were even banned, but I'm sure the reasoning is idiotic. And I don't even smoke.

The Government considers flavoured cigarattes a gate-way to full-on tobacco smoking.
