Hello, dear.

I have a MacBook Air 2017. I have been using it for almost a year, but Aplle have changed the display last year.

I recently noticed that when I press the left part of the plastic clutch cover, it moves a little (it pushes through and returns to its place as like springy) and there is a small sound.

It is very small, about 1 mm. Also, when I press on the center on clutch cover, it is also pressed a little.

I saw a similar post, some people wrote that it was normal. There was also a link to the video, but the video is no longer available via the link.

I will attach a link to the video of my MacBook. Please see and advise.

Thanks a lot.

The cover on my 13" early 2015 Air does the same thing if I press really hard. It's there to cover the Wi-Fi antenna cables, camera cable, and hinges. If the lid opens and closes without making weird noises or sticking, I think it's fine.

I press to hinge cover easy and it does it.

I have to press very hard to get it to flex unless I press closer to the top of the number 6 key.

I wouldn't be too concerned unless it is making noise or not opening/closing smoothly.

normal for those clutch cover devices, especially the Airs being that they were one of the smaller ones. this happened all the way back to the first unibody Airs 2010/2011. I wouldn't worry about it.
