So i'm just wondering, which one would you choose, and why?

edit: just noticed that I wrote the Norwegian price-tag... i meant of course 1699$

Neither.

I'd go cMBP with a hybrid 750 GB drive and 16 GB of RAM. Faster, far more useful, requires no dongles or externals to connect to things and thus more portable, etc. While the retina screen is nice, it's not worth the price difference and other sacrifices to me.
 
High end 13". The screen is not worth having to forgo more storage, a faster CPU, soldered on ram, etc. If you have to have it very portable then just get a cheaper Air, the i7 in those end up being almost as fast as the CPU in the retina. I think the retina pricing is simply too high unless you must have the novelty screen. A $400 premium is not worth it IMO, but that's your call to make.
