Just wanted to know if you think Apple will drop the current non-retina macbook pro in 2013 once Haswell has been released? I am thinking of going for the non-retina 2012 as I'm not too fussed about the high res display and like the fact that I could upgrade the machine in the future, extending the life of the machine. Or would you say pay the extra and go retina?

I seriously doubt that Apple would go retina-obly until the components have become significantly cheaper so that retina models can be sold at the same price as non-retina today.
