Current system:
Early 2011 2.3 15" 1680x1050 6750 Mountain Lion 10.8.2
I have a 32" 720P external screen in the bedroom that I use for Hulu and Amazon Prime, typically hooked up to a laptop.
When I had a rMBP, video worked fine through native HDMI port. It also worked fine via my last two Windows laptops via native HDMI ports (both Nvidia video cards).
The cMBP that I am currently using shows nothing. It recognizes the display, and even names it appropriately. That said, I cannot get anything to display on the screen itself regardless of the resolutions I select.
I have tried forcing discrete graphics, but still shows nada.
Any thoughts?
Update:
TV in bedroom is a generic BrokSonic from the college days. The newer 1080P Samsung in the living room seems to function fine. Still uncertain why I cannot get picture in the bedroom though.
