So I have searched and searched for an answer to this problem and I've come up with nothing. Hopefully someone can chime in...

Since upgrading to Mountain Lion pressing CMD will sometimes randomly revert the focus to the previous application that was in use.

For example, if I copy something in Firefox and then go to paste it into Word using cmd+v , the moment I press cmd to paste the info into Word, Firefox is brought to the forefront of my screen and prevents me from being able to paste into Word. The easy work around to this is just to use right clicks instead of shortcuts but that's annoying. I want my shortcuts back!

I have tried going into the keyboard settings and swapping the functions of the crtl and cmd keys but the same issue presents itself when ctrl is pressed.

I'm lost on this, any help would be appreciated.
