C’mon! Where’s the case love for the White / Silver iPhone 14 series?

In the past I‘ve always ordered the Black / Space Grey versions of iPhones and so finding a phone case was a cinch!

This year though I preordered the 14 Pro Max in White / Silver and I gotta say so far it’s been pretty darn hard to find light colored cases that fit my style and don’t show any fingerprints (i.e. no clear cases). So far I’ve ordered the following 3 cases on Amazon to try out:

1. Elago Pebble Case (City Grey) - $15.99

I really like the texture and I’m assuming it doesn’t show any fingerprints, I’m just hoping that the material doesn’t wear off the way the silicone corners do on Apple’s official case. I’m also hoping that the rounded corners help the phone feel nicer in the hand than the sharp edges of the phone do.

2. Memumi Ultra Thin Case (Semi Transparent White) - $14.99

I love how little weight the ultra thin cases add to the 14 Pro Max. At 240 grams the phone itself is already over 1/2 a pound! 😨 other cases can push that weight up to 300+ grams and somewhat uncomfortable. The issue though with the ultra thin cases is obviously protection. Gotta make sure that you don’t drop your phone or to make sure you have AppleCare+ to take care of any accidents without breaking the bank. I also don’t like that the buttons are completely flush with the case so it’s hard to feel them without looking.

3. Ornarto Silicone Case (Starlight) - $14.99 after $2.00 off coupon and comes with 2 screen protectors

I‘m not sure about this one since years ago I bought an official Apple Silicone Case and over the next couple of months the silicone on the corners of the case began to wear off and eventually kept peeing back further and further up the case until it looked terrible and needed to be thrown out. I’m assuming the same thing will happen to this one over time but it’s only $15 so if I like it the best of these 3 I might just keep it as a throwaway case and look for something better down the line if it does start to fall apart.

I do really like that this case completely covers the cameras and has a lip over the top of them, plus the soft microfiber material on the inside of the case to try and avoid debris getting in between the case and scratching the side rails of your phone. Including the screen protectors with a alignment frame to make the installation easier is a nice touch.

Are there any light colored cases that you guys purchase for your white / silver iPhone besides clear cases and could recommend? 😃

Yeah too bulky for me, I’m really fussy I want as minimal as possible 😂 even if it’s not best protection would be nice for just a simple low key bumper lol

I love the rounded edges of this one! Would love to find that in a white silicone.

I love my white/silver iPhones and have a hard time finding cases (since Apple forgot how to make white cases.)

Do share if you find more with this rounded edge. Like that

The Ornarto one looks nice — I’ve never heard of this brand though. Memumi looks ok but it looks like their logo is not discreet. And I’ve read some bad reviews on the Elago cases. Apple used to have a white silicone — I wish they offered this or even white leather. A clear case might be the best option.

I actually did get the blue Otterbox Figura for my Silver 14 Pro and... I'm planning to go and return it later today. It looks fantastic on the phone, but the one I have is a loose on the sides (quite a bit of give when I press on the sides) so am not happy with this.

Probably going to get an Apple silicone case instead now.

It's a pity as I really love how it looks but just cannot live with how loose the case is.

I actually did get the blue Otterbox Figura for my Silver 14 Pro and... I'm planning to go and return it later today. It looks fantastic on the phone, but the one I have is a loose on the sides (quite a bit of give when I press on the sides) so am not happy with this.

Probably going to get an Apple silicone case instead now.

You might try another case- I just popped mine on for the first time and there isn’t any part that’s loose. I will say it’s a bit slippery, but probably no worse than the leather cases at first. I have the Apple silicone on my 12 pro, and that’s definitely more grippy.

I was just at the Apple store and that's also what the Apple store person I spoke to suggested I could try too, but I decided to just try the Apple silicone case (since this was a very close second choice after the OtterBox Figura) instead which fits perfectly.

I think the main issue with the Figura I had was really that there was a lot of give when I held it by the sides and it was really noticeable to me. Basically the side edges would keep sliding over the front of the phone! Not sure if it was a defect with the one I got though. Just thankful that I got it from the Apple store which makes returns/swaps really easy to do!

I got the white one, but then I returned it for the black one. The white is beautiful and goes with most cases well because there is always a high contrast with any color paired with it. It has a pearlescent quality to it that doesn’t come across in the pictures. However, I returned it for black because the black makes good use of different degrees of black. Although the phone is in a case most of the time. When I do take it out, I would appreciate it more. There’s more complexity to it.

Right now I have a Mous Limitless 5 that I’m not sure I’ll be keeping. Waiting for a blue Sheath and Synthesis to come in. But I do like how the white matches the case.
