Got a really strange question... cMP 1.1 flashed to 2.1 , with a PC Ati4870 1gb card, running yosemite
now as you all know no doubt, the Ati (asus in this case) works without flashing when running Yosemite (lion 10.7.5 or laters) and runs fine, albeit the fan running pretty fast on the vid card. Benched and tested, runs great.. reports Ati 4800 1gb card
so i thought, hey, why not flash the card so i get a boot screen.. followed the various threads on here and flashed the card fine. works great.... reports Ati 4870 1gb card ...but...
is it me or is the performance slightly less and the fan slightly louder in the flashed efi card?
fur mark went from 30fps to 28fps?? and i could swear the fan noise is a tad bit more???
i know these are old cards, but works great for in the cMP 1.1 , thats why i am kinda asking. any of you come across this?
