cMP 4,1 flashed to 5,1
Original Geforce Gt 120 GPU fails Apple Service Diagnostics

Fails All OpenGL Tests

Tried 2 different GPUs of the same Geforce Gt 120 both fails

All other tests completes OK

I was busy with Northbridge pin fix with Zip ties temporarily and while that one came down from 128 degrees to 66 degrees with zipties for the moment till pushpins arrives, when i run the ASD 3S132 (original for the 4,1 Mac Pro) it fails all GPU tests

Tried different monitors and different DVI-d cables, also tried over the minidisplay port. tests for OpenGL Fails.

I could try a different CPU board but i think its not the issue..

Thanks

Viktor

I won't say that's expected, but not surprised either.

No 5,1 shipped with GT120. And all ASD are very type specific.

Once flashed, I think it make more sense to run ASD 3S149, because 3S132 should not applicable anymore. However, 3S149 also not compatible with GT120. So, I doubt if any ASD can run in that config properly.

Anyway, unless no graphic card can work on your cMP properly. I won't too care about that particular ASD error because they are expected to be not accurate due to the cMP is not in factory config.
