I am wondering if theoretically i could get a m.2 raid working in bootcamp as a boot drive? I was thinking of getting a x2 AHCI Hardware Raid controller card. Right now using Sata2 at 3Gbits/s in the drive bay is killing me! Would definetly be open to a Sata 3 PCIe Raid card with x4 slots or more as well.

The Apple software RAID usually cause BSOD in Windows, better avoid it (even not the boot drive).

For hardware RAID, it should not be a matter. However, any SSD installed via PCIe card is considered "external", so far, not many report about if possible to boot from an "external" PCIe SSD (even not RAIDed).
