Looking for my first laptop (to supplement my iMac).
Given the choice for the same cost, is a Classic (non-retina) MBP 15" 2.3GHz Quad-core Intel i7 (ivy bridge) a better buy than the most recent rMBP 13" 2.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 (haswell)?
Its going to be used for photo editing and light video editing.

I'd go classic. For the 650m and just generally better bang for buck.
