cMPB 2012 Battery charged at 99%?

My battery says its charged at 99% and not 100% Why? I had it charging with the laptop closed in no use for about 8 hours. I turn it on it said 99% and it says it is full.

What gives! It's only a week old!
 
It's normal. They can stop anywhere between 93% and 99%. It prolongs battery life.
