Are they guessing or actually reporting? Im seeing a lot of guess work from the mainstream media but their basing it all on what they're reading on sites like this.

Everything is actually guessing until Apple pours the concrete. However a better camera is all but a shoe in since it is probably getting hard to source such a crappy one.

DJ Apple Said To Unveil Quad-Core iPad3 In New York Next Wk -CNBC

I heard the report at work and it was not stated as a rumor but a confirmed report. They have continued to state the story all morning as fact not rumor. It is CNBC so anything is possible and nothing they have said is "new" news to anyone that frequents this site. Just thought I'd pass it along.

Wowsers!

NEW YORK — Apple is expected to unveil a new version of the iPad at an event in San Francisco next week.

Apple sent out invitations to news media on Tuesday with an image showing part of an iPad screen. The company had been widely expected to reveal the third version of its popular tablet computer soon, close to the anniversary of the launch of the iPad 2.

The event will take place next Wednesday at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater, where Apple holds larger launch events.
