While checking my stocks yesterday I saw in the "News about your stocks" that Cnet had released a new report claiming the Series 4 was going to be released in September w/ a new form factor including a larger screen.

Can't find any other 'reports' including here. Which should be all over these 'rumors'.

I just bought a Series 3 SS GPS/Cellular on Saturday and I'm going to have to return it and go back to my Series 0 until September. But, I REALLY love this Series 3 and I haven't even connected it to cellular yet.

The one Actual “Real” Rumor was predicted by Ming Kuo, which stated the display would be increased by 15%, increased battery life and additional health sensors.

Another recent rumor suggested Apple using Haptic buttons in place the Digital Crown and home button, But it was suggested as a “Future” Rumor for the Apple Watch.

If you've bought a S3 already then by all means keep it. It's a GREAT watch, and if you go back you're really going to feel how awful the OG watch is in comparison. You're probably going to have to grit your teeth every day using it until mid/late september or whenever S4 launches... ;)

I got all excited when I saw the CNET article pop up in my news feed, but was disappointed that it was just a consolidation of earlier rumors and speculation.

I'm still on a Series 0 and figure at this point I'm going to wait and see what September brings. Then I will get the S4 or a discounted S3. If the display of the S4 turns out to be significantly larger for the same case size, thanks to the slimming of the bezel, that might be enough to sell me on the S4.

I did 'see' those rumors. I wasn't paying attention.

Likely going to keep the Series 3 now and pass it on to the wife when the Series 4 is released.

If I were you, I would return it and wait patiently to September. Series 3 design is three years old hence it cannot be distinguished from series 2 and 1/0 at glance.

She also has a Series 0 in SS. She likes hers very much. So much so she's willing to let me keep this one until Sept. when the Series 4 is released and 'inherit' it. She suggested this when I explained I was going to return it and why. She's mostly looking forward to the freedom from her cell phone.

I'm still on the fence on whether to return it and wait or keep it and give it to her. One way or another, she's going to have to get a new one also due to the cellular option and her overall commitment to using it. We've both worn our daily since release. We share bands. It's kinda nice having a tech interest. She's always been cool like this since I met her. Glad she's see's something of value in me and keeps me around.

My thoughts are, once and if the Series 4
releases in September, and of course due to Apples tactful marketing that is so good, you will likely want the Series 4. So I would perhaps keep your Series 3 and then give it to your significant other, and then upgrade to the Series 4. Besides, I think your Series 3 will be a good replacement for the first GEN watch your wife is currently using.
