I'm a big fan (yes, pun intended) of Lose It. Great app, great website. I've been on it for 4 weeks tomorrow. I weigh in every Sunday. In the first three weeks, I lost 13 pounds!!! I'll know tomorrow how much I've lost this week.

It is alll about tabulating calories and exercise. I have to admit, I've only exercised one day each week- usually a 3 mile run to the post office and back home on Sundays.

It doesn't put me on a slave diet either, I ate at Chipotle last night, and I've hit Taco Tuesday every Tuesday for months, and I still have my wine at night :)

Love that app! The hardest part is going to the grocery store on Sundays and then spending about 90 minutes prepping my food for my lunches the rest of the week. Cutting up the watermelon and cantaloupe and measuring the baggies and making my sandwiches, etc.

I eat something every two hours. I take a single slice of dry toast on my way into work at 6. I eat something like a small bag (4oz or 1/2 cup) of strawberries at 8:30, then something else at 10:30, then my sandwich, a can of soup and the watermelon or something at noon, then again something like a bag of fresh baby carrots (3-4ounces) at about 3:30, then something else like pineapple chunks or peas on the way home, then I have enough calories left in my budget for a decent dinner. Win-Win. Never very hungry, often not hungry at all, and I am dropping weight like a boxer before a big fight.

Okay- an update for those bored enough to follow.

I've been on this LoseIt app / web site diet for 11 weeks now. I have lost 26.5 pounds. I have 4.5 more to go. I could have another 2 pounds off, but I ate poorly over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Anyhow, I'm still a big fan of LoseIt.

Wow, that's great news. Keep it up, you can do it. Good to see gadgets helping people to stay healthy
