Today, we had a post exam party, that lasted till about 11pm. Towards the end I was feeling really weird. During it, I had about three cokes. Anyway, it was getting dark and we were playing football. I already had a slight stomach ache, but soon I was noticing really weird things.
I started getting terrified of the bushes in darkness behind the goal. I saw stuff moving in it, and once, could swear I saw a wolf.
When someone kicked the ball, I saw green flashes coming out of their feet.
Sometimes, exactly half of people's shoes turned blue
The sky had a reddish colour, although the sun was completely down.
I laughed at almost everything anyone said, and got into hysterics, even when explaining to others my drink could have been spiked.
Right now, I feel kinda hot.
I thought maybe you guys cold have an idea of what was happening. I'm more curious than worried, and if it was a simple caffeine overdose, I'll hopefully wear it off by tomorrow.

3 cokes wouldn't even phase me. Maybe you were drinking more than just Coke. ;)

I've drunk like 9 cokes and never had that happen. Are you sure you weren't smoking pot? Or your drink wasn't tainted? Because it really sounds like you were high

I'm not really in the age group that would smoke pot..
Anyway, all I ate was two burgers.

LOL.. I wish pot could do that to you..

You know I was going to poo-poo it, but according to this website, hallucinations are a possibility with a caffeine overdose.

While 3 cokes = approximately 100mg of caffeine, I suppose in some that are totally unaccustomed to it, it might be more than tolerable. Generally "dangerous" amounts of caffeine are in the 250+mg category.

I wouldn't worry about it though... It ain't PCP. ;)

last night i had 2 monsters, 5 cokes and 3 mountain dews and didnt have any weird effects, so unless you're like really skinny or hyper-sensitive to caffeine or something it probably wasn't the caffeine.

Now now, everyone has differing physiology, it's entirely possible that a dose of caffeine at this level could have adverse effects on someone who isn't accustomed to it.

If you're super sensitve to Caffeine, you can get WACKED out from Coke and/or Coffee

I've had to cut out coffee in the morning, cuz it was making me so high strung that I almost beat the hell out of co worker....(or at least had a very strong urge to do so....)

some people get that urge no matter what.:p

How fast did you drink, was it like 3 cokes in 5 minutes?

Maybe Coke was testing a new formula...

...you know the one with illicit substances added.

Vanilla Coke is no longer with us but I hope this new Coke stays arouns a while :p

You mean a 4 year old :D
Not necessarily - I'm 37 and very sensitive to caffeine. If I drink anything with caffeine, I immediately start to get the shakes.

I've never had hallucinations that I'm aware of, but I can see where having 3 cokes, especially if they were the 20 ouncers or something, could cause issues.

This is true...at 18 I get caffeine headaches. Usually only from kind of diluted caffeine products that I drink a lot of...like iced tea or straight coffee. I don't drink enough espresso or soft drinks at one time to get a headache, but I'll often have a couple cups of coffee or several glasses of iced tea.
