cocktail software - is it useful

I have used the cocktail app for many years. I was told it was useful in keeping a mac optimized. It also changed system defaults.

I am wondering if the user community still feels that the software has value.

It is time for me to renew. I have sent email to the company with no response. Their website is still sells the software..

Thoughts on its value.

I see no need for such apps. In my opinion, the OS does a good job of keeping the OS system running well.

use Onyx or Tinkertools instead. Both are free.
